For the last several years I have kept a consistent daily journal of my doings. I've decided to create an electronic journal. One that I can keep in blog format and one I won't lose, as I did in the past. My freshman year I started keeping an electronic journal on Microsoft ONEnote which I subsequently lost when all that was saved to the computer died. I'm hoping I will never lose these passages.
I am up to the task of chronicling all that happens to me, which will include pictures, music, youtube videos, anything that I can think of that will give the perception of how life is in this day and age. I chose the address: johnceegonzales.blogspot.com . The CEE comes from my dad when I was on the mission. In my letters home I would end the letter with John C. Gonzales. From then on, my dad would always make fun of me by addressing letters to me with: John Cee.
I'm choosing to make this blog private. I don't know exactly what my stipulations to seeing this journal will be. Will I allow my future wife to see it (probably not at first)? Will I give my posterity access to this journal (probably when I am sure it will benefit them)? Will I open this blog to all (probably not)? Who knows?
My life is an interesting one, that's for sure. I'm definitely not perfect. I definitely have my own follies. But I am happy to be alive, always have been, even in my darkest moments.
So, here's to the years and years to come. I am a really nostalgic person. I can't wait to see and learn from these "pages" of notes.
