6/7 He's off and I'm off to go on Visits

Today was great!  We went to sleep at 12am and Jacob got me to set my alarm for 3am, for whatever reason, and we were off by 4am.  I didn't even take a shower.  I just got dressed and used the rest of the time to read the Book of Mormon and the conference Ensign.  We had gotten in the car and dad was like, Jacob, do you want a priesthood blessing.  We went into the family room and I participated while dad pronounced a blessing.  We got there no problems.  We checked his baggage in and then we said our goodbyes.  It was a very emotional moment, as he hugged each one of us.  Then dad said that we should take a selfie.

I even teared up as he gave me a hug.

He made it.

After reading the Ensign, I went to sleep for a couple more hours.

Then, I went to pick up Mosiah to go to the gym.  He asked for a favor to take him to the library so he could make a copy of a permission slip to an LDS function.  So before the Gym, we went to the library on Sierra.  I just dropped him off and waited.  He made three copies at 15 cents a copy.  Then we headed to Planet Fitness, later than planned because he slept in.  I ran for 13 minutes, getting a mile in 10 minutes.  I was wearing a sweat headband and wrist sweatbands.  After the treadmill, we did the stepping stairs for ten minutes.  Then we went to the lifting bench and he had me lay down and lift.  Then squat and lift.  Then pushups, which I couldn't do.  That was the last thing we did and then he offered me a milk shake from Jack in the Box and he got a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger.  And then I took him home.

Dad and I talked in the living room for a good amount of time when I got home.  He got me ALL of the DVDs that I asked him (minus Thor:The Dark World).  So now I own all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, and La La Land.  He was sickened when I told him I had already watched La La Land.  We told him about Fences, which is a  movie that Mom, Jacob and I didn't enjoy.  He's going to watch it and tell us what he thinks.  He also got Hacksaw Ridge, which is Rated R, but he says he watched it on the plane and enjoyed it. I was so happy to see that he got me all my movies.

Then Dad went with Mom to the eye doctors to choose frames for his lenses.  I spent my time at home testing the DVDs on my computer; they all worked.

Then I went to Ministry Visits with the Bishopric and Stake Presidency.  For some reason, Bishop had thought the appointments were only for Brethren, which is why he had only asked me to contact the brethren.  I was only able to get three solid appointments, with Joe Burgess and Eric Burgess, Doug Williams, and with Tauivi Hoching.  We made threesomes.  It was Bishop and the two Slemboskis, Brother O'Neill and two others, and Me, Brother Harris, and President Hampton.  We were assigned to visit Tauivi.

It was so cool, because I got to meet Tau's (my previous Elder Quorum Second Counselor that had served in my EQP) Mom, Sister Hoching for the very first time.  I expressed my love for Tau and told her how much I missed him and regretted not going to his wedding in Vegas.

We had a very nice chat with Tauivi.  Tauivi is one of the nicest individuals I know.  We congratulated him on his relationship with Sydney Scott.  They are probably the cutest couple next to Becky Shutt and Kyle Nielson.  We reminded him of certain events that are coming up.  Also talked to him about his upcoming two new Sunday School counselors.  President Hampton told Brother Harris to lead but I offered to share a spiritual thought with him.  I shared what I shared with Jacob in the first letter I wrote to him, from Elder Cook's talk in the Ensign.  I was praised afterwards by both Brother Harris and President Hampton.  It was a good evening.

Afterwards, Brother Harris and I chatted in the church parking lot about radio things.

We got a letter from Jacob earlier today.  He's doing good.  We still don't know too much just yet.
