6/10 Feelings (akin to nostalgia) and Peruvian moving

I woke up at a decent time, but not as early as usual.  Part of it, I think was because I was choking up a lung at like 3 in the morning.  I get nasty heart burn if I eat certain stuff before bed.  I think what caused the heartburn was a combination between, chocolate chip cookies, red vines, and nacho cheese Doritos.  I spent my awake time preparing the Ward Council agenda for tomorrow.  Then I tried reading something and I couldn't so I fell back asleep.

Dad wanted me to wake him when Tío Wiwa called to let us know they were ready to start moving their crap to their new apartment in north central fontana.  I called Mom, woke Dad, and we got dressed without showering and headed over to the Peruvians.  We had the help of a member of the spanish ward who had a white truck.  We brought the van and my car.  We then proceeded to move the muebles into the van and the truck.  Large table on the truck with mattresses.  Wooden furniture in the van.  It took two trips that lasted from 11am to about 3ish.  In those two trips we but the little stuff in my car and Wiwa's car.  Their new apartment is on the street where the Fontana Library is.  The nice one.  So that means I can check out books when I go visit them at their apartment.  However, they are now living in a gated community.  I got on Mosiah's case about not being awake to go work out the last two days.  We arranged that in the following days, he will call me a half an hour before so I don't waste my time and travel all the way to north central Fontana for nothing.  One of Mosiah's friends helped with the move as well.  I was about to move their somewhat big screen tv, but dad was like you break it you bought it, so I reluctantly put it down and Mosiah moved it and yelled, "no tengas miedo" (don't be scared) to me as he took it to my car.  Mom doesn't think they'll get any of their deposit back which is around $700.  They have a bleach hole in their rug.  Cockroach stains on the wall, etc.

We did our best to help them, and after we (Mom, Dad, and I) went to Taco Bell and got Chalupas.  We were pleasantly surprised to see that Jacob sent us an email, one to me, and one to Mom and Dad, and I guess Sarah got one as well.  I noticed first before we even got home.  It's great, we know his companion's name, Elder Hopkins from Oklahoma City.  The rest you can read in my Post of his letters he sent to us.  He also sent four pictures.

Aunt Rae passed away today.  I'm sure Granny is feeling sorrowful, I mean, this is her sister that she is closest to.  I wonder what this means for mom, because she kinda promised that she'd be there for Granny and take her to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the funeral in Aunt Kristen's place (because Aunt Kristen is tired of it, understandably).

Ryan Lauritzen's sealing and reception plus ring ceremony was today in Murrieta.  It was an outside reception, in a stake center's outside field.  I was able to say a quick hi to Ryan and Sam, who were talking in the parking lot.  I dropped off the card I got them, then I looked around.  I knew no one.  Then I saw the Lauritzen sisters, Kasia's half-sisters, Karri and Korri.  Said Hi to them, small talked for like two minutes, then wandered for a bit looking for a place to sit.  I finally chose a table with a nice looking girl named Tara Harris who was sitting with her husband of two years and their baby Ezra.  They were also sitting with her father and mother-in-law.  Her mother-in-law had a phone case with a picture of piano keys.  I commented that she must be a really great piano player with such a case.  She was.  Tara was extremely nice and she told me she had been to my YSA ward a couple of times.  She knew Jonathan Espinoza (who is somewhat less active) and others that have moved out of the ward like Lily and Helaman Diaz, and Elizabeth Mullin.  Tara was extremely nice.  However, she found a friend and paid me no heed after we sat back down with our food.  The had elderly relatives as well from Jurupa Valley named the Hilberts? who I got to talk to in the line.  Extremely nice folks.

Then I saw the first person I knew while I was in line waiting for the food.  Brother Gary Bluhm (previous first counselor in the bishopric) walked past me getting water for his wife Deanne.  I hailed him and I told him I would talk and say hi to him later.  After I got my food, which was carne asada tacos, I set my stuff down and found them in line waiting to be served.  It was good chatting with them for a bit.  They are wonderful people.  And when I left the reception, I said a quick goodbye and Sister Bluhm told me to invite her to my wedding when I get married.

I don't know if calling how I was feeling during the ring ceremony and procession was nostalgia, but it for sure made me feel somewhat akin to nostalgic feelings.  Yep, it made me feel something.  I loved the ceremony, but I didn't really like how I was feeling.  Seeing Ryan arm and arm with Sam was great.  Their first dance was beautiful.  Their kiss was so pure.  He's the last of my prior Elders Quorum Presidency to get married.  Hopefully I will be last but not least, soon.  It was nice.  I enjoyed myself (besides the feelings).  I guess it was loneliness.  Not having someone anymore to share moments like these with.  Brother Hilbert mentioned that I need a list of things I want in my future spouse, but more importantly in me.  He asked if I had made that list yet.  He also asked if I am dating.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of when I entered the MTC to start my missionary service.  2008.
