Dear Jacob,
Thanks for the confirmation letter you sent the parents about arriving safely. I was expecting to get a letter too in my email, but Mom had to forward it to me.
It's good to hear from you. This is the second DearElder.com letter that I am sending to you, so hopefully you got my first one, which I sent to you early this morning.
Dad got me all the DVDs I asked for, and they are all in good working condition. So NOW, I have ALL of the MCU movies to date (minus GotG Vol. 2, because that's not out on DVD and I didn't want a poor rendition). So, when it comes out, I'll have to buy it to complete the collection. Then Spider-man: Homecoming, the Thor Ragnarok, etc. so on and so forth. It makes me happy. Oh, and I asked for LA LA LAND as well.
Cavs lost in game 3 118-113, so close, but no cigar. So we'll see if the Warriors blow them out on Friday.
Dodgers beat Nationals 2-1, but you probably don't care about that, haha (it was just the next reported score in the ESPN app).
As far as Tennis is concerned, Nadal made it to the semis after P Carreno Busta RETIRED because of an injury in the second set. That's too bad, right. Murray beat Nishikori, Wawrinka beat Cilic, and Thiem beat Djokovic. So I hope Wawrinka goes against Nadal in the Finals. We'll see.
I went to the gym with Mosiah today, and we're planning on going daily.
We had ministry visits tonight with the Stake Presidency. I went out with Brother Harris and President Hampton and I shared exactly the same thing I shared with you on my first letter. And it was cool to mention that I had just dropped you off at the airport.
Good day. Can't wait to hear from you on your P-day, which is probably tuesday right?
I need to think of a killer catchphrase like Mom's "Be good and Do Good."
"Hurrah for Israel!!!!!"
No, something unique, like "don't put your bushel in one basket because the holy ghost can't handle it." haha, of course it has to make sense.
Well, have a good Thursday. Remember, the spirit is with you when you obey. I wish I had had that advice.
Love,
John
