This is most likely going to be a big month for many reasons. It's already started big:
Sarah Rebecca Trefflich is now living here in Fontana starting September 1st. She's making this big sacrifice to be here. She says she hasn't, but she left her friends and state of residing to live closer to me. She was here two weeks ago and now she is here for the future, to be with me. I will probably propose to her this month in a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to a December wedding, maybe right on time for the 2018 New Years. Very crazy to think about.
Yesterday ended my first perfect week of work. I don't intend for that to end. I will do my best to work every single working day. I am a substitute teacher for the Colton Joint Unified School District (CJUSD). It was one of my very hard perfect weeks I have had in a long time. It mostly consisted of roving. Except for the last day I was in an SDC class with one aide, and at times it was hard. I've probably done more Roving in the last three weeks than I ever did last year. And you know what, it hasn't really been that bad of a time. The days where they split my day in half instead of by hours are always the hardest days. And I've had a hard time on days where I teach the whole day away. Anyways, I'm grateful for a job. I have been blessed with many things.
I love studying gospel topics. I don't know why, sometimes I get stuck in a rut, though, and don't study the scriptures or conference well enough. That said, I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love being Mormon, a Latter-day Saint. I love that title, Latter-day Saint. I am part of the Saints of Old, who have done their best to Choose the Right in all things. I do my best to live happy from day to day. I am grateful for the Gospel.
Good Ole' Football Season is back. Of course, when I talk about any particular football season, I am really just talking about BYU football's season. They had one (really preseason) game last week against Portland State. We won but we should have defeated them soundly and that just wasn't the case. They played with heart, but BYU played poorly, we won, but we were unsatisfied, with their performance, as were most people watching cheering for BYU. So, we shall see how their 2017 season is going to be. Hopefully better than the preseason game we watched last week.
My family only spends money on going out to eat. This was mentioned today to Sarah Rebecca. I love this about my family. We bond over food, as does Sarah's family.
So, this will be one of my best months. Guaranteed!
