What an interesting day, for sure.
It ended with us at Sarah's new house. We had just finished talking and found out that for some reason Sarah had dog poop on the bottom of her shoe. Not fun, and that we found traces of it all over the house, in kitchen, dining room, and hall. We turned on the lights to get a better look at where the poop had trailed and to clean it up best we could. Sarah decided to clean her shoe in her room and I just stayed out getting ready to play a game. Well, in comes Kimberly barging into her house, irate, bellowing why all the lights were on in the house and running around turning off all the lights. It caught me off guard so I just submitted. She went into Sarah's room to talk to her about it. Sarah calmly told her why we had turned on all the lights. She finally calmed down a bit, telling us not to play a game with all the lights on in a different room. After I explained to Sarah how we play the game (ticket to ride), Kimberly walks in and said she had been talking to her husband on the phone and that they don't run a motel, and that we should have a time where I (me) had to go home. I said we would comply and asked her when she wanted me out of the house. She decided on 8:30pm. It's a bit steep, but it is her house, so we both agreed to the terms.
Before that, Sarah and I were talking one on one about what we could do to improve our relationship, and especially in regards to what the For the Strength Youth says about physical affection and intimacy. We decided not to kiss passionately, as expressed by the FtSotY pamphlet. Not to stop kissing altogether, but to take it down a level. Sarah had had a dream that led her to receive inspiration in regards to this relationship.
I also comforted her in her in her feelings of loneliness and change. She was tearing up, so I got up and hugged her. I do love that Missy Girl. I had told her that I didn't know why I wanted to only spend a bit of time with her (like an hour or so), but that I needed to talk to mom about it. I need to always do my best to let Sarah Rebecca know how I'm feeling.
My day at work was awesome. I was at Lewis Elementary doing SDC class with Ms Bonnie and Ms Wendy. At first Ms Wendy was like she didn't know I was going to be there, because she forgot. But, besides mixing up her name, she was glad that I was there. This was my first time there since the new school year had started. Ms Bonnie said that Mrs. Reyes was concerned that I would be scared away with the new group of kids that had been added or taken away since last year. But I was great. I noticed that they have a new boy they call Gordo, that is loving, but has no sense of personal space. Ms Bonnie was telling me that they were talking about adding personnel so that they could have someone one on one with him. When I heard this, my ears picked up, and I told her that perhaps, I could do it. So I told her to have Mrs. Reyes let me know via text when she puts up the vacancy on Edjoin. She was thrilled at the idea. So maybe sometime soon I will be an Aide in an SDC class.
The day went by great. Nothing too hard. It was actually really fun. All the kids are super sweet. We had computers and library as some of the things we did today.
Peru won today. They are in the running.
At lunch, I was sitting next to the sub manager and she was saying she had family in Utah. I told her I did too.
Anyways, things are great.
