9/3 He's an Angel and Priesthood revelation

Brother Harris could actually hear me this morning when I checked in using the HAM radio.

Sarah Rebecca drove with me to pick up Brother Harris from his usual spot. He was being stubborn when Sarah offered him his seat. He told us a prop 8 story about Patriarch Devereaux, my old Spanish teacher and good friend. Then we separated for early morning meetings.

I couldn't stay awake for Fast and Testimony meeting. Sarah showed me a blurb in the the Church Handbook that specifically says not to disturb anyone while they prepare for the sacrament, before the meeting, which I always do. She wasn't trying to criticize me, and I'll probably still will do it anyways because I feel good while doing it, plus, I get the prayers for Sacrament meeting, so I am out there walking around anyways, might as well make a new friend or two.

Austin Moss made my day in Priesthood, just talking to me about a lake where you can paddle boats and I talked to him about the LA County Fair that is going on.

I helped put up tables and chairs in the seminary rooms at church. Then I ate the chili they had for Break the Fast. Sarah was like do you want chili with your cheese, haha. Tyler Frederick asked for a ride to his Personal Finance class. He said he wanted to go to mine, but I told him he had to stay in his own class. We gave him a ride to his house and then to the Etiwanda Stake Center and I told him he had to find a ride home.

Sarah Rebecca said that she introduced herself in Relief Society as the girl that came for John. Then several girls exclaimed stuff like, he's great, he's an angel, and something else. Madeline Bird told her I shook her hand twice just to be friendly, haha. She made friends quick, including D'Kota Anderson and Claire Larson and Celeste Boyd.

I noticed the new sister missionary's name is Sister Fausett, which sounds like Fawcett. I told her about how I had cousins with that last name and she said she dated a Fawcett in Cedar City. I was like wait, could it be thomas, and low and behold, it was. CRAZY SMALL WORLD.

We went home, Sarah and I, and ate Estofado that Lucy made, and talked and shared ideas about music. Sarah asked mom about her ideas for the winter wedding and the date. They told us to consider the Juniper Building and they had us drive there at the end of the night, but I think it'll be a little too small for our reception. Everyone agrees that that building is beautiful, though. So, maybe we'll do it in the Woodruff, because it is a little bigger.

Now it is time to write a letter to Jacob, our missionary boy.
