I prayed this morning for an easy job in my roving at Sycamore Hills, and I was blessed to work in the SDC classroom for Mrs. Pierce and the other aides. Mrs. Pierce was in and out all day, sometime taking the lead in different assignments, sometimes asking me to take the lead. All in all, it was a good day at Sycamore. We even had an emergency fire drill. The kids mostly stayed really quiet, until one little kid heard a plane but because it was cloudy outside, they couldn't see it so he blurted out loud, "Where's the plane?" and everyone laughed. I enjoyed myself today. I was a bit tired from last night's late night. But it was still a good day. I texted Mrs. Reyes from Lewis Elementary SDC about possibly becoming one of her aides. She responded positively, leaving me feeling good about it. She said she'd let me know if things change.
Mom had me get Taco Bell. I tried a Mexican pizza, which was good and a folded something or other.
Sarah was going to go out with the missionaries tonight, so she didn't go to institute with me. The missionaries cancelled on her because their appointment cancelled. She still wasn't able to go to institute with me, but we met up for an ice cream cone at McDonalds on Live Oak. It was a celebratory ice cream for our three month-a-versary.
Institute was good. I played Lead Kindly Light for Brother Trask. We talked about the Liahona and when Nephi broke his bow, and when Ismael died in the scriptures. It was very insightful. I played Chris Santos at Ping Pong and beat him twice. Then I played Trevor Kenley, a guy that went to the temple with us yesterday. We were just hitting it back and forth for fun.
No parking spaces on Yarron. Just gotta deal with it I guess.
