1/3 Fixing the Apartment and Temple Initiatories with my Wife

Today was full of great things.

We had prayer and scripture study at 6AM this morning. It was probably one of the nicest things I’ve ever done with someone else. We decided that we are going to study the Book of Mormon with the BoM365 people that Instagram puts out since it is a manageable amount of reading that can be done. We read todays and discussed it. Sarah couldn’t find her clean garments because she left a bag of them at Shaunna’s house. So, when I went to pick up the rest of her stuff, I made sure to grab them.

I took a shower after Sarah left, and when I got home I noticed that Sarah was calling me. She was calling me to tell me that she got into a car accident off the 4th street off ramp, but that it wasn’t her fault; the other guy ran into her. After assessing the damage, they decided that that it was negligable. So they didn’t pursue further action. I was happy that she was okay and that no one was hurt.

I went to Shaunna’s house to pick up the rest of Sarah’s things. It was a lot of walking up and down the stairs, but it went by alright. I filled up my car with things and it had just a little bit of room left to spare. I then went to my parent’s house. Talked with mom and watched the newest The Middle with mom. Then, I picked up all my toiletry items from the shower and cleaned up the sinks a bit. Said bye to Sarah because she is leaving tomorrow morning by plane. Mom and Dad are taking her.

Oh, this morning, while looking for the BoM365 I noticed that President Monson had passed away last night at about 10PM. It was sad news to hear in the early morning. He was a great man. One to emulate and be like. He was a superb prophet of God. He lived his life almost perfectly. I love our prophet dear. So that means that President Russell M. Nelson is going to be the next successor. I wonder who he is going to choose as couselors? I am excited to see the changes.

I brought the stuff back home after I visited the family. I also picked up my music that was by the piano. It was a lot of music. I actually spent some time organizing it and putting each song into page protectors and a white binder. It all barely fit in there. That was the last thing I did before Sarah got home today.

I went to the grocery store after dropping off all of Sarah’s stuff through the window. I got stuff for soup and yogurt for the morning and butter at Sarah’s request, and fruit.

I then started organizing all of the boxes that were in the closet so we could walk in there and everything else that was mine. I listened to music as I did so using my small phone and Sarah’s speaker.

Sarah came home and we had some fun. We then got ready to go to the temple after Sarah took a shower and we ate stuffing that I had prepared.

The temple was amazing. We bumped into Bishop and Sister Ellsworth, who were there to do the Wednesday night endowments with the singles. We just went to do Initiatories.Brother Hardy greeted us at the door. He was so happy to see us and commented on how we were smiling from ear to ear, as a newlywed couple of four days.

We had decided to do 5 names in initiatories, but Bishop and his son Spencer cut in front of me to do two names each before their session. So I got through 3 names, and then the temple workers had to go to the veil for about 10 minutes. Well, by that time Sarah had already been finished. So, she was waiting a long time.

Most of my names were from Ohio, one, named John was from Canada. When the temple workers, left for the veil, I studied about Sarah’s name. It was a fascinating read. One piece of information, I come to find out, that Sarah did not know.

Sarah and I got home, and we watched The West Wing using Mobile Hotspot, but stopped because Data was running low like crazy.

Good night, all in all.

We’ll have internet tomorrow, YAY!
