Good day. Kinda non-eventful, but good nonetheless. I was at Rogers Elementary roving, although, I was in RSP all day, which was definitely a good fit for me. I need to take more RSP classes. What's cool is in the classroom, another RSP teacher was there, but I knew her from somewhere else. That somewhere was Jurupa Vista. It was Mrs. Frost, the previous 5th/6th grade SDC teacher before the ill-fated Mr. Martin, and the hundred or so subs that have taken his place. She asked about Freddie, which is this big kid. I thought it was funny that of all the kids she could have asked about, it was Freddie first. She also asked about the state of the class since she left last year. She told me she was a teacher there for only a year and a half and she has been treated well at Grand Terrace and Rogers, where she works at. I told them about Mrs. Raymondo's kid, Jayden, who is causing terror in the Jurupa Vista SDC circles, and another RSP or something teacher said she knew him and that he came from Rogers. I guess the reason Mrs. Frost left Jurupa Vista is because she didn't like the administration, mainly the principals, because they didn't get things done like they should. It kinda reminded me of Mom's beef with Mrs. Duquette/Myers at Poplar.
The day went by really well today. I especially liked working with a 6th grade girl named Natalie at the end of the day, because she was on point, getting all the questions right. She even made this stair case out of blocks that was super cool. I was falling asleep a bit at some points of the day, but, I was mostly doing good the rest of the day.
Sarah and I went to the gym today. We just ran for a half hour. She is doing her Mentoring with Kirsten right now.
I did my laundry and a bit of cleaning the house, including cleaning out our fridge.
Life is good. I think I'm going to call mom for a bit right now. We'll see what she says.
