12/30-31 Sealing and all that Followed

The last two days have been euphoric!

Our Sealing was amazing. So many people were there that wanted to be there: Bishop and Sis. Ellsworth, Bishop and Sis. Taylor, the Johnson's, the Parisi's, Tony and Briana were there, and so was Brother O'Neill and the Harris', and even Tio Wiwa and Anila. They arrived late but they were still there after I had asked them to come the night before. President Miller of the temple presidency was our sealer because President Morgan could not be there for the sealing because his wife had fallen and hit her head and was in the hospital. Khatiuska was there to take our pictures and she did a great job doing so, we loved having her do the pictures. We took pictures in front of the temple and we were waiting for another party to move for the best lighting. Unfortunately, we were nice and waited a good long time, and the next party after us were not that nice. We took pictures of all our families, starting with mine because it was the smallest. Then we proceeded to take pictures of the individual families of Sarah's brothers and sisters.

After that, all our families left and we stayed with Khatiuska to take some pictures around the temple.

We then went to our apartment to pick up the stuff for the wedding that was in our fridge. Sarah and I had a nice few moments together.

The reception, though nice, was a bit chaotic for me. Everyone was either asking me where things went or telling me that I didn't need to know anything about where things go. There was no middle ground.

Dad gave me a blessing, taking me aside to talk to me. He said I would protect and provide.

Things were barely ready in time. People were coming in and Sarah and I couldn't make it to the front of the cultural center. Arnie to the reins of being Master of Ceremony, and started our procession line the opposite way of where people came in. Khati took pictures of everyone that made it through the procession line.

My dad gave a beautiful toast at Sarah's request.

Sarah and I cut the cake.

Danced to Love Me Tender by Norah Jones.

Sarah sang to me! Which was so special.

Then we started our Dance party. The Hansens and Greg Obi and my sisters really made it great.

Sister Peterson was in charge of a photo booth in the primary room.

Sarah and I drove to Hotel Chino Hills. Had lots of fun. And then I picked up food from the nearest gas stations.

Today, we got up and got ready to go. We had to go to Walmart to get my glasses fixed because the handle fell off of the screw.

Then we went to a Spanish Chino Hills ward, where all the missionaries spoke.

Then we drove to our Best Western in Hemet. Had some more good times and some in the pool.

We celebrated New Years countdown at midnight and gave ourselves our first New Year's Kiss and did a toast with the watered down juice they provided at the juice bar.

We ended the night watching West Wing.

Great last two days.
