Sarah and I had planned to move her stuff to her new room in Rancho Cucamonga. But we had planned for me to do as my parents wished and mow the lawn. So when I got up this morning after sleeping soundly, I did just that, mow the lawn. I had to pray so that the lawn mower would work. It wasn't working after like 20 or so breath stealing tries. Then, after I had prayed, it worked without argument. That took about an hour in a lot of wind. I was listening to the conference talks that I had missed: Saturday afternoon session. Then after I finished that, I took a shower and went to Sarah's place.
We packed up two cars worth of stuff. I bought her a tankful of gas for about $40. Then we drove the stuff to Shaunna's house. Then we unloaded both cars. Sarah's foot was starting to hurt so I did most of everything. It was all pretty quick. Sarah had put in a load of laundry. Her foot was hurting because her room was upstairs and we had to move the stuff up there. It definitely took a shorter amount of time than moving her stuff into Kimberly's house, because most of the stuff was already organized into boxes or nice sections.
We were hungry, so we went to Senor Baja for burritos. Then after, I left her to tend to her stuff. I went home and folded my clothes. I waited for mom to come home after I read my scriptures.
We went to Nogales Burgers for dinner. Mom spent the time before watching the newest episode of Madame Secretary. As we ate, we watched The Middle. Then I went to FHE with Sarah, which was The Amazing Race. Sarah taught a stellar lesson about the joys of repentance. Then she asked if I could go with her and stand as a clue giver for the race. We stood at Walmart to give the clue to take a picture sword fighting with play swords. There were three groups of people. It was pretty fun. After the three groups were finished at Walmart, I stood in line with Sarah to help her get some money function. Because I stood outside with Sarah, they gave me a Creamistry gift card for my work, so now I have two.
On the drive home, Shaunna Lee, Sarah's new landlord called to tell her that she was planning on being in Utah for 4-6 weeks, instead of a few days. That she felt comfortable enough to let Sarah stay and watch her house for her. That if it wasn't for the Self-reliance classes, she might not feel that good about it. So we were blessed. Sarah's going to take her to the airport on Saturday.
Sarah then took me to the Don Day park to celebrate the engagement and other things with a glass of sparkling cider. We accidentally broke a glass jar, haha.
