I told everyone at Jurupa Vista today that Sarah and I are getting married. Mrs. Fisk, Ms. Santos, Mrs. Ceja, Mrs. Raymondo, Mrs. H, Sister Davies and kids (who's reactions were priceless), Mrs. Martin (who invited me in her class room and gave me a hug), Mrs. Parlapiano, and Mrs. Shumate, the office managers. Most reactions were beautiful. When I told most that we are getting married in December, they said it was really soon. One (can't remember who), said we need to hold a party for me. That would be pretty amazing if they did that. It'd be crazy.
Mrs. Fisk's class was okay when she was there, but when she left, it got pretty chaotic. I don't know how first grade teachers can do it. You are just bombarded by a mess everywhere you go. We had three parents help with everything this morning (which was all dedicated to three class rotations of science: chromatology. Deriving colors from skittles with water. When she left, I just had them do centers, and read a story on the rug. Then they went home.
I took Sarah to Verizon and we added a line to my cell phone bill and 4GB of memory instead of 2GB.
Then I went home, said hi to mom and dad, read my scriptures, and napped a bit.
Then I got ready for the Temple night. Unfortunately, once again, only three out of my five names were done because Sister Ellsworth had a stack once again. We told Brother Hardy and Brother and Sister Harris the news. They were all excited. The Ellsworths, Harris, and Hailey Daker, Claire Larson, Sarah Nielson, Brianna Trost, and a couple temple workers made it. Once again, besides the adults, I was the only male YSA. Brother Sorenson, our sealer, had me and Sarah be a couple three or four times. I was witness once. It was a great night. We, Sarah and I, went into the Celestial Room for a few. And Sarah asked for a blessing, so I gave her one outside on a bench in a secluded circle. She wanted courage for her upcoming interview in the morning for a high paying job in Ontario. We also asked for inspiration to our questions in the temple. We always ask what our intent in going to the temple is or was.
