Coupled with: I took the long-term sub assignment at Jurupa Vista today. I called in early. She said I could use this week as a trial week and if I feel fine afterwards, then good, I can do it. This job will go to the 4th of December, exactly 20 days starting Monday. Since there is a holiday week in November, those days don't count.
I actually was at Jurupa Vista today roving. The power went out for about an hour or so in the morning. We were all hoping a cancellation of school would happen, but no, it was just the workers and they told us it would come back on.
I was in Mrs. Raymondo's class for the first few minutes, followed by Mrs. Williford's 4th grade class. Then I helped in the SDC class that I will be long-terming. It was a mess. But I still feel good about signing on.
Sarah came around 7 and we went to Wing Stop, but I don't think she was impressed. We got garlic Parmesan and Hawaiian. Then we headed to the Lewis Library, but it was closed at 6. So we drove home and watched two episodes of Stranger Things (so now we are on episode 5 of 8 so half way there, and the new season came out today, but I'm going to wait). We also made out for a while.
