10/5 So-so and Super Star Talks

Today was a so-so day.

I was teaching Mr. Tornberg's fifth grade class...and well, that was easier said than done. I had two crying girls (not at the same time, thankfully). A boy, named Justin, who was (and was previously) always out of his seat and doing things that weren't nice, like kicking yoga balls while people were sitting. I did learn another game called Medic. In it the two captains choose a medic who throughout the game touches people who have gotten hit in a dodgeball like fashion. However, there are three dodgeballs and if the Medic gets hit by a dodgeball at all, the whole team loses. Pretty fun to watch, even though I was standing in the heat of the day. The principal talked to me at the end of the day to ask if I knew what happened to one of the girls that was crying, at the end of the day. I honestly didn't know.

I came home pretty tired. I kept falling asleep during the first half of the soccer game between Peru and Argentina. Argentina had 22 goal attempts and Peru only had 2 or so. But Gallese, was the goalie of Peru and he saved a ton of the shots. We ended up tying the game, which dad was super excited about. He would have been even more excited had Peru scored a goal and won the game. So much so, that we would have gone to a Peruvian Restaurant.

We ended up going to Carl's Jr. instead. It was pretty good, though. I had my first Super Star. I don't think I've ever had a Super Star. I usually get Famous Stars.

I brought up the possibility of going to Sarah's family in central cali for Thanksgiving, and I got a lecture about how I am too passive about things and how Sarah is domineering. I told them both that maybe I have domineering parents. Mom was caught off guard by that comment. I also brought up that Mom has been hurt a couple of times by dad that I had to witness. Dad probably thought I was talking about getting too much meat, but I was talking about how he hurt her to tears once or twice. They even brought up that instead of staying with my sister Sarah and watching the rest of 2nd session with her, I went to The Roof with Sarah and Sarah M. Jenson.

Sarah got me a index card holder as a gift along with some juice we used on a date. We then talked about some of the conversation that I had with Mom and Dad tonight, about her being domineering and me being passive. I let her know that I don't feel like I should go to Thanksgiving with her family this year. We shall see how this unfolds. She was asking me why and things and I gave her the best answers I could give (like IDK).

Time to watch some Goldbergs and go to bed. I don't have to work tomorrow. BYU vs. Boise State tomorrow night.

5.18 One day til done

Life has been really good. In most ways. Sarah and I decided to start a weightloss program called Optavia. We are a week and two days in to...
