10/12 Lewis SDC and Mom condolences

I was at Lewis Elementary today. Mrs. Reyes' SDC class. I was with friends: Mrs Bonnie and Wendy. This morning I told them that I am getting married, and Bonnie was like, I don't know you that well, but when you said you had good news, I thought, for sure he's getting married. It was an easy day, because they have really good structure to their day, plus it was minimum day as well. The only hard part was when Zarrick had a melt down about going to PE after he said that he would go. I really enjoy being in Bonnie and Wendy's presence. They are good women.

Other than that, it's been a pretty laid back day. I was graced with a call from Sarah my sister this afternoon. At first, I thought it was like most calls and she wanted to know something, but no, it was mostly a call to see how I'm doing and give advice about wedding planning. Some good advice, and some warnings about not going into debt because of a wedding. But I was super excited to talk to my sister for about 40 minutes.

I went on a Miguel's run for Mom. Asked her if I could buy a burrito for Sarah Rebecca. She said yes. Got our usual and sat and ate with Dad.

Then I went to pick up Sarah from Shaunna's house. I gave Shaunna my condolences and wished her the best with her mom that has Dementia. I told her about my experiences with my grandpa and she took it to heart. We didn't get to institute in time for me to give my spiritual thought. In fact, Brother Trask was giving the spiritual thought. Oh well, I apologized to Greg Obi afterwards. Institute was good. Sarah had several comments up her sleeve.

I drove her home and we kissed goodnight, so she could have a session with one of her clients. We're going to pray soon.

Mom woke me this morning to tell me that they are going to travel to Hurricane tomorrow morning, instead of today when they got home.
