I got punched with a kindergartner's fist today in the chin by a boy with my same name: Johnny. To make a long story short, I was roving at Jurupa Vista today and they had me help a sub in Mrs. Shumate's class because she was not there. I was there to help a sub out until 10:25am. She had me go to Mrs. Towne's class to pick up two of her boys while she picked up the rest of the class. Well, right when I get there and greet the two boys, one (Johnny) pouts and grimaces at me and goes grr. How's that to start off the day. Well, on the carpet, he didn't get his turn so he starts screaming as he sat down. Then, after he got his turn, he doesn't put the pointer back where it is suppose to be and starts walking around the class. I follow him to make sure he doesn't leave. I get close to him, and when I am close, he makes a fist and socks me in the chin/jaw. Well, I took him over to Mrs. Towne and she calmed him down with do you understand me and look at me's. After that he was doing okay, in that he was looking at some books during center time. Man, that kid was a mess.
I did Mrs. Parlapiano's class for about an hour. Then I had lunch and found out that the other class already had a sub so Veronica told me to wait in the lounge. She forgot about me so at 2pm I went home. I talked to Mr. Julio for the first time today. He's a really nice guy and makes a mean lemon bar pie.
I watched the newest episode of the Flash today. I should've and could've watched Legends of Tomorrow, but didn't.
Then, after Mom and Dad got home, I left for the Lewis Library to be with Sarah. We watched the newest Middle and discussed wedding plans. We also called Sabina about making cookies and the logistics of accomplishing such a task. We also decided to move the reception up to 3pm and lunch potluck at 1pm. Also, I called the San Bernardino recorder to see when we could get the marriage license. Sarah's going to get off at 1pm next thursday and we are going to do a walk in before they close at 4.
So, good things coming.
Oh, and also, our honeymoon is being shortened to Dec 30, 31, and Monday January 1. So, only 3 days, but that's okay with me. Sarah was kinda displeased, but she got over it.
