After dinner tonight (we had an early dinner and I was an intruder on the dinner at Pancho Villas), we arranged for two couches that belonged to the Knudsen's to be brought to both Peruvian households. After getting the measurements from Mosiah, we decided that the big couch would go to Lucy and Jesus and the small couch would fit better in Wiwa and Anila's house. So we packed the large couch first. Boy was it an interesting feat to get it up the stairs and fitting into the house. I was dead lifting from the back and Jesus was deadlifting it from the front. It's a miracle it didn't fall down off the railing and kill someone on the first floor. Then we had to figure out how to get it into the house. Jesus figured it out well and we did it his way, putting the legs in first. I didn't get to Wiwa's house in time, so they had it all figured out by the time I got there. We stayed at their house for a good hour or so before we left. Melaney and I played on Ammon's Ipad, including Fruit Ninja and Color Switch. I asked Melaney if she had cards, but after looking for it for a long time, she couldn't find it. I asked both kids about their first day at school. It was Melaney in 8th grade and Mosiah in 2nd grade. Since they moved this was Melaney's first day in a new school, but she said she made friends. She seemed pretty confident, which I'll take as a good sign.
The Knudsen's house is starting to look emptier and emptier. President Knudsen mentioned that the house, after today, doesn't belong to them anymore, so now "we are living in someone else's house." How sad. I don't want to feel without a home not ever.
Tonight, after I got off the phone with Sarah Rebecca, Dad and Mom were talking downstairs about the vacation and what was good and what was bad. They came to the conclusion that I spent way to much time with Sarah and not enough time with the family. While this might be true, I meant for it to be a vacation with her and with the family. I didn't inconvenience anybody, and I made sure I made it to places on my own accord. However, all the justification won't take the fact away that I didn't spend enough time with my family on this vacation. IDK, I did my best to make both things happen, so I could have a great week. And I didn't mean to make both my sisters mad at me. It's done, can't change it now.
Mom's first day was interesting, I'm sure. She did mention a Josue that's going to be a bugger.
Watched a Merlin and read my scriptures, plus ate cereal.
Talked with Sarah Rebecca a couple of times today.
Plus, Tyler and Sharon had the baby!
