8/26 20-6 win against Portland State and Food Acquiring

Today was the first BYU football game of the 2017-18 season against Portland State University. It was suppose to be an easy win, but I think everyone's expectations were way too high. BYU performed mediocre-ly. We won 20-6. Two touchdowns, two field goals. But in the end, it is still a win, so we got that.

We had pizza and buffalo wings for lunch, which is sort of a tradition. I was definitely jumping up and down at certain parts of the game. It is good to have football back, though, and the awesome announcers of Spencer Linton, Brian Logan, David Nixon, Dave McCann, and Blaine Fowler.

Mom and I went to the grocery store together. I like doing that with mom, even though going is quite the chore. However, later dad got angry at mom for certain purchases, such as extra eggs and I guess too much meat to cook in one week that will go bad in the freezer. His points are made, but he was yelling at mom and me. It's not like he can handle it another way. I stood up to him, but it didn't help. If anything, it made matters worse.

I got gas afterwards. Spent $30. Talked to Sarah Rebecca about her time in Rigby and about the game.

Tonight is the Floyd Mayweather and McGregor fight, but it is Pay-Per View...so I guess I'll just hear about it tomorrow in church. Youtube is blocking all transmissions of the live fight, haha. Thought I'd try anyways.

I'm still watching Iron Fist. I need to watch Guardians of the Galaxy:Vol. 2 in its entirety, though, which is calling out to me more than Iron Fist. But I can't wait to watch the 8 episodes of the Defenders.

Life has been really good. In most ways. Sarah and I decided to start a weightloss program called Optavia. We are a week and two days in to...
