8/30 Mr. Sutherland's Kinder and Possible Wedding Dates

This is my Roving week. Today I was at Grimes Elementary. They assigned me to Mr. Sutherland's Kindergarten class, although, I didn't know it was Kindergarten until after I was done at around 1. I thought it was a first grade class. Mr. S was doing some testing. By the time he was done, before the Kindergarteners went home, he had tested his whole class, so he was happy. I monitored and guided them as they cut out papers for a huge letter M, with a mountain climber on the slope. The kids went crazy with their designs even though they were suppose to stick to brown for the M and white for the slopes and black for the goat. They got paper everywhere, and fortunately, when Lunch time rolled around, Mr. S heard me and helped me gather the children up to clean and put things away. Fortunately, he did that, because it would have been like pulling teeth, which it was until he came in. Then, after lunch, he told me to take a while on math, which I did, but the kids were getting bored with me. Finally, he did come in, told me he was done, and sent me back to the office, where I waited for about 15 minutes before they assigned me to a fourth grade teacher that I went to last time I was at Grimes roving, and she thankfully accepted my help to read from their science book until it was time for the day to end because of minimum day. I had rich cake today from the staff lounge for August and September birthdays.

Mom and I were discussing possible wedding dates in December. We looked up Briana and Sarah's school schedules and the 16th of December cuts into Sarah's last week of school, and Briana ends on the 15th, so it would be tough for her to get here. I called the Redlands Temple for December 16th to see how open they are and they only had one wedding for the 11am hour. But they were open every hour from 8am to 8pm. So now I'm talking with Sarah, and she's willing to change it to accommodate my family, also hoping that her family could also make it to the wedding, because she has one sibling who lives in Japan with their family, and she's hoping that all her siblings could make it.

Mom was looking up wedding stuff based on the colors I told her Sarah had told me about: Blue and Purple. She looked on Pinterest and was finding things that she liked.

Mom and I made Lomo Saltado. I peeled the potatoes. Three of the potatoes were going rotten because they had holes in them. We watched Madame Secretary as we made them. Mom was getting a bit distracted and the french fries were getting dark. But overall, the food was good.

Overall, good day.
