We got up really early for the 4th of July pancake breakfast as put on by the Oleander Ward of the Fontana Stake. We sat together and got hash browns and scrambled eggs and several pieces of sausage. I was able to say hi to Chris and Gabby Ruano. They are a really nice relatively newly wed couple out of my singles ward. They're doing pretty good it seems. I also talked with Kelly Christensen (the Oleander Ward bishop's daughter). She's working at Deseret Industries at this moment preparing for her first year in college at BYU-I. She mentioned that Eric (her older brother on a mission) writing her family letters and coming home in October. Crazy, it seems like he just went out. I then talked to a Jimenez, a relative of Sister Western who was there. We didn't recognize each other, but Lance is his brother and a common person between us.
I was so tired though all day today. We went to the Church Distribution Center in Upland to pick up stuff for a package that my parents are going to send to my brother. They got conference ensigns and a mini-hymnal for him. I slept on the ride there and the ride to Dad's office and in the Quality Thrift Store. I was just so tired.
I got my new phone today that should hold a charge really well. I spent a while transferring data from my old phone to my new one. It's exactly the same as my old one. Exact. And everything transferred exactly as it was on my own phone.
I watched the most political episode of Arrow I've ever seen. It was all about gun rights and violence regarding guns, and the actions that Oliver Queen as mayor had to do to be politically correct.
After that was over, we all decided to head to Mucho Gusto, the local Peruvian Restaurant in town for chicken. Although, when we got there, there was no Pollo Enterro, so, we got Parillada Mixta (a mix of grilled meats ranging from sausage, steak, pork chops, and chicken with salad and french fries). We shared, and it was extremely satisfying and filling as well. The waitress is a good friend of our family, she's extremely funny and nice and cracks jokes so much. She was cracking jokes before we ordered that when we ordered for the chicken and she said there wasn't, we were seriously wondering if she was joking, which she wasn't. We also chatted with her about how she was going to go to Peru in August. She told us about how she's going to Cuzco, and also how she has gone to the Selva (jungles of Peru) and gotten sick. She chatted with us for a while. She's a nice lady. Mom and Dad sat on the same side of the table.
Tonight is the Stadium of Fire in Provo, at Lavell Edwards Stadium. I'm chatting away with Sarah Rebecca, who is going there with her dad and best of friends. She told me some things about her family and stuff that have happened in the past. I still feel close to her and I know we can get through some of the things that she has told me about.
Well, I'm looking forward to a new month with half of the year over. Six months to make this one of the best years possible.
