I taught Laurel Allen's (from Sycamore) daughter's class, Olivia, fourth grade. Olivia is a nice girl. We played hangman at the end of the day, just she and I. Mine was "Hello, my friend." And her's was "Today was fun." I got there intending to teach a 2nd grade class, but Laurel asked me if she could move me. I said sure. She sent me to Mrs. Pierce's SDC class. Right when I got there and before I even put down my bag Laurel calls me on the telephone and says she wants to switch me again, because the SDC class was only a half day job. She then assigned me to Mrs. Blackwell's 4th grade class. She told me her daughter was in that class and that Olivia was like her, a little kookie.
The day was good, despite not having lesson plans until 2 or so hours into the school day. She did PE in the morning, so that took up a lot of time. Then they had chromebooks to go on. So they had stuff to occupy them. Then, I got 4 or 5 extra fifth graders who didn't have a sub sit in the back and do their own independent work. We also had a lockdown drill later in the day. They did really good at math.
I had the missionaries for dinner this evening. They suggested a pizza joint called Stuft Pizza, when I suggested we eat pizza for dinner. They had a coupon for a BOGO free. We had two pizzas, a bbq chicken and a pepperoni supreme. It was very good. Sarah joined us half way because she was looking for the tire place but couldn't find it. She was also fixing the insurance. Elder Pierce was getting really into the New Orleans Saint's NFL football. The other Elder Van, was watching about movies. He was asking me about how much I liked XMEN Apocalypse.
Sarah and I went to the library because Shaunna wasn't home. We compared the Kaiser Permanente and Blue Shield Gold plans and couldn't decide which one to go for. Because it ultimately meant we were choosing whether or not to have a baby in 2018 or in 2019. We couldn't decide. So we prayed about it and decided to sleep on it, since we have til the 15th of this month to decide.
I was a bit angry with Club Royale. I called them back, and they told me that they never had 2BR2B apartment and I was told wrong. I was really getting my hopes up for those apartments. Now it's back to square one. So, I called a couple, but no real success. A somewhat Saturday appointment.
