The day went by fast at work today...don't really know why. The kids were somewhat easy to be around. They got cantankerous after PE because one of the teams was chanting "We are WINNING and you are LOSING!" I thought it was funny, but didn't think to stop them from doing this thing. Some kids were really hurt by this chant, even though we weren't keeping score in the kickball/basketball game. They also all wanted to get in the good cloud, which, after a while got annoying because every fifth question was, "Can I now be on the cloud?" To which I would answer, "Those that ask me won't get put in the cloud." They took forever on this area of a house floor plan poster. It took almost two hours, although, the teacher told me it would take them a while and not to worry if they didn't get everything done. Some of their work was funny because they totally missed the point of the assignment.
I was tired when I got home today. I found out (although I should have known) that there is no class on Friday for the whole district. On my way out, I took a half day thusday job, all right before Laurel assigned the job to someone else. I told the other sub sorry for taking his work.
I lay down, and a second later, Mom called me asking me if I could come with her to the grocery store. I did, and we got the usual stuff we need for a nice work week, even though we only have a couple work days left. Tomorrow is minimum day at Jurupa Vista for me.
Sarah and I worked on little tiny silver bags, whole punched with snowflake inlays. We watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy recordings on YouTube. Then I worked on printing pictures from our wedding photo shoot with Sarah's sister in law Sonia. It took a while. Sarah continued to hole-punch and call Katiuska, her friend that is a photographer, and we agreed to pay her $450 to take pictures of us. We met her in the middle.
Sarah and I then walked around the library after it closed and the surrounding areas, talking of all the things that we need to get done, including asking my parents if we can use the Fridge that will be stored in the garage a couple of days before the wedding.
