I met Sarah at Kohl's. She bought me a tie, a white shirt, and she picked up some silver shoes for her feet. Then, with Sarah's help, we drove to Carson/Torrance, so she could go to her Bridal Shower. I dropped her off.
I drove to Sarah's house in Torrance after the movie was over. Read the self-reliance manual and a chapter in the BoM, while I waited. Then Sarah texted me to come back to her friend's house where they were having the Bridal Shower. So, I do that.
Sarah got ready to go to the beach by putting on her white dress and Athena, her sister, did her makeup. Because, if I hadn't said already, we had decided to take pictures for our wedding, which is the reason why Sarah bought me the tie (which was super fancy and expensive). On the drive to the beach, Sarah was a bit frustrated with her sister's help, hoping we'd get to the beach before sunset (because the bridal shower went long). We did make it, though, and met Sarah's sister-in-law Sonia and her friend Byron. They took so many pictures it's not even funny. I had to smile a lot, but at least I wasn't squinting, right. We did some posed pictures as well. Some kissy faced pictures, etc. We met Sonia's mom Gloria, de Guatemala.
Then, after all was done, we drove back to a Denny's in Torrance and had dinner with Sarah's friend Jenny B (who's dad had just passed away) and her Mom and Athena (and Noah). And we talked. And Sarah did not like being interrogated about the wedding...and arranging who was going to watch the kids and stuff. We also told Jenny about how we met.
Then we drove home, tried to watch an episode of Stranger Things 2 but the internet was going in and out.
I asked Sarah what she got for her Bridal Shower. The stuff sounded interesting. Lingerie, and other things.
