We watched the SERIES FINALE of THE MIDDLE this evening. I got a spoiler that the season ended with a whisper from Brick. You wouldn't guess it, but he says conveniently: The Middle, in reference to his seat in the car. It had a really good closure ending. It even went a few years down the road. Sean got out of plane line to chase down Sue, and they kiss and are married in the end. Lexie and Axl have three boys just like him. And Brick writes a Fantasy/Sci-fi story about his experiences as a kid. It also had a lot of the running gags, like the blue bag, and the Fergusen baby, road tripping, freezing Sue's head for science, etc.
I talked to Luis Guillen about scouts preparation today. It went extremely well being up there with the boys. Of course, there were only five of us: Me, Luis, Edward, Benny, and Sammy. Luis had me working with Sammy, and he worked with his brothers. We did the scout recitations in the beginning. I helped Sammy work on his physical fitness requirements in Tenderfoot. He did 30 push-ups and 31 sit-ups. I decided to try my hand at it too. I did 31 push-ups, and 20 or so sit-ups. Then we made a plan for improvement in a month. Then I assigned him homework for next time. Then we talked about possible campouts. It seems, after talking with Gsus, that we will probably go on one in August, because mid-June is too close. Sammy stripped down the workout clothes he had underneath his scout uniform, haha.
I talked to Hermana Gonzalez, and Hermanos Luis and Maria Cardenas. Isaac, from Sarah's primary class is their kid, along with two others. Great people. They've been members since 2007. Crazy.
Mr. Stoffel's class was pretty good today. I had an easy day. Mrs. Jasmine was a super nice help, as always. She gave the class timers and clickers to stay on task that they learned about yesterday.
We don't have a lot of money right now for our bills. We're going to wait on paying utilities until they absolutely need us to, and we get death threats, you know.
