6/4 17-18 Subbing Complete, 120 days, and Unorthodoxed Family Home Evening

Today is probably my last as a substitute teacher. Actually, HOPEFULLY it is my last day as a substitute teacher and that I will soon be on to bigger and better things. There is still two more days left, but seeing as how they are minimum days and the last two of the year, I don't see myself teaching those days. Plus, I'm picking up my mom on Wednesday, so that's a no go anyways. It's crazy that my last full day as a sub was in Jurupa Vista, and also in SDC in Mrs. Raymondo's class. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to the students and teachers that have made my time subbing at Jurupa Vista a special treat. Two such kids were saying goodbye to Oscar and Gabriel. I love those guys to death. It was definitely an easy day, in that Mrs. Raymondo was in and out all day. She asked me for help in keeping the kids attention with work, while she did stuff, and then we helped the kids clean out their desks. It was super easy.

When I got out, Sarah asked me if we could go to the grocery store, two of them, Cardenas and Food 4 Less. We restocked on everything and hopefully it'll last us for a while, if not this week. We saw the sisters at Cardenas, and they saw us dancing to the hispanic music playing.

Sarah and I came home and we ate quesadillas and watched a Goldberg's episode, Love is a Mixtape.

Then we spent a good portion of time listening to a playlist Sarah created with my name on it, but that were really songs that touched her and brought out her personality. It was quite interesting and I learned about her.

We then read the scriptures in both english and spanish, but I was getting triggered for some reason because Sarah was doing her best to translate the scriptures instead of actually reading them. I don't know why I was so adamant about it. Then we talked about when I was on my mission with Elder Porter.

It was definitely an unorthodoxed family home evening night.
