6/25-26 Blessings given From God, and Little Nieces and Nephews

I feel impressed to write about two experiences (and more, of course) that I have had in the last two days.

I have been able to give three priesthood blessings in the last two days. One to Lisa, Sarah's sister, and one to Adina, her daughter  (my niece), and one to Colin McQuade today.

Chris, Lisa's husband, is being a real jerk and not being really responsible at all. He stormed out of the house Sunday night, and barely is even returning. Sarah suspects things. We don't know what is true. For all we know, he could be cheating and viewing pornagraphy. That is probably the worst of it all. Hopefully this is not happening.

Well, we were able to go to Torrance and visit with Lisa and family for a while. Helen, my mother-in-law asked us to offer to give her a blessing. The great thing is she received it so graciously. In the blessing, she was counseled to seek the help of her brothers and sisters. Today she texted her family asking for any help from them. She followed the promptings of the blessing.

Adina had been feeling sick and naseous and had a headache. She also graciously accepted the blessing. And after the blessing, she miraculously felt better. I can only attribute that to Heavenly Father and the love that he has for those that seek him and have faith in His words.

Sarah prompted me to give Colin, our neighborhood homeless man, a blessing when he dropped by.

Wow, I don't think I really knew what to say, but fortunately, I prayed and words came. And I really think it is the words that he needed to hear at this time in his life. And he thanked me from the bottom of his heart. He felt the power, having not ever been a member. In the blessing, he was counseled to pray.

Wonderful experiences of the last two days.

I talked to Briana today. Baby Cohen is doing really well. I asked her if I could Instagram it. It was really good to talk to her and congratulate her. He is so cute. And so is Sonia's daughter Madeleine.
