Jacob, a rock and a Unifier

I have come to find out that for the last two years that Jacob's been away, our family has been broken. Not really in the negative sense...just that we have been incomplete; not whole. I am very happy that he has had the desire to go on the mission, even after my mission ending fiasco, and that he served soooooooo honorably, with weaknesses, but never really faltering. I am impressed by the kind of person he is.

Just in the last 14 hours since he has been home, I have felt healing. Which is a HUGE compliment to my brother. Not only that, but (not saying we weren't unified as a family without him), but he has been a glue, just in the time he has been here, that our family really has needed. He is like cementing our family together in love and unity and good feelings and in communication...which is something that every family needs.

I was trying to think what kind of rock Jacob is. I'm not really sure. A strong one for sure. Cement isn't really a pure rock per se, but something like that. He is a foundational unit of our family.

I missed him sooooo much, and I am happy to have him back.

We are complete again.

And bigger than when he had left, which is a blessing :)
